MIDDLE SCHOOL CURRICULUM
Keystone Online Middle School Program
Keystone's middle school program offers students in grades 6-8 at your school a complete curriculum. Schools look to Keystone for a variety of reasons: to offer their students courses that aren’t available at their school, to solve scheduling conflicts, or to provide students with a solution for recovering credits so they can get back on track if they are falling behind.
The comprehensive Keystone curriculum offers your middle school students online courses based on a learner-centered model that draws from current educational research and meets the high standards of the North American Council for Online Learning (NACOL).
The Keystone middle school curriculum includes:
- Core Subjects – More than 30 courses including Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies
- Electives – Elective courses, including Art Appreciation, Health, Music, and Foreign Languages
- Advanced Courses – Algebra I, Spanish I, German I, and French I courses are offered to 8th grade students who want a more challenging educational experience in preparation for high school
- Credit Recovery Courses – Year-round enrollment gives students the opportunity to get back on track
