Grading and Evaluation
Keystone evaluates a student's work in a credit recovery course and provides the student's school of record with a grade. However, it will be the student's school that will issue the final grade and credit value that will go on the student's transcript.
Feedback on Your Course Work
Online credit recovery courses will provide immediate feedback when assignments are submitted through the online school system. Some assignments may require teacher evaluation, and will take longer.
For print courses, all assignments submitted are evaluated by a teacher. Feedback is provided through the student application.
Finish within the Time Allowed
Students must complete the work for any credit recovery course they take within 8 weeks for a single-semester course, or 16 weeks for a full-year course.
Assignment of Grades
Once a student has completed all work required for a course, the student's work is evaluated by Keystone.
Within 10 business days of completion of the course, a numeric grade will be calculated, and the student will be notified. A report will also be sent to officials at the student's school of record, who can assign a grade and award credit at their discretion.
Any balance due for the course must be paid before a grade will be released.
