High School Curriculum
A Flexible, High-Quality Education Program
Keystone offers more than 120 high school courses, including core subjects, Advanced Placement® courses, electives and six world languages. Our high school program for students in grades 9 through 12 provides an education that can take students anywhere they want to go. Keystone's comprehensive curriculum offers online and correspondence (print-based) courses*, and our school is fully accredited so your diploma will be recognized by universities and employers.
Online courses are delivered through the Keystone Learning Management system to give you access to assignments, online materials, and communication from instructors. Keystone takes your child's online safety and privacy seriously. Our interactive and effective online learning environment is also a safe one.
Correspondence (print-based) courses provide lessons through printed materials including syllabi, assignments, and communication from teachers delivered by U.S. mail.
Online Core Curriculum
Learning through interactive, multimedia-rich curriculum, your child will work at his or her own pace with access to teacher support to ensure a rewarding high school experience. Our online high school curriculum includes online lessons that feature the latest in multimedia learning:
- Virtual labs
- Interactive graphics
- Animated tutorials and online activities that reinforce concepts and help keep learning interesting
Electives
As part of our school's dedication to student academic success, we offer a selection of elective subjects. These online and print-based offerings allow students to learn in areas of interest outside the core courses. With titles such as Digital Media, Forensic Science, and Fashion and Interior Design, we help students create a well-rounded high school experience.
Advanced Courses
High school students looking for more challenge can get the extra edge they need by taking Advanced Placement® (AP®) courses, which will prepare them to take the AP exams administered by the College Board. Many colleges offer college credit to students for taking these courses. This credit varies by school and is usually dependent on the score received on the AP exam.
