The Keystone Chapter of the National Honor Society
The National Honor Society (NHS) elevates a school’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. These four pillars have been associated with membership in the organization since its inception in 1921. Full time Keystone students are eligible for selection to the Keystone chapter of NHS when they have earned at least 10 total credits – five of which must be Keystone credits and two of which must be Language Arts credits. Students must also be registered as full time, diploma seeking students who have been enrolled for a minimum of one year and have earned a 4.0 GPA. Upon meeting the grade level, enrollment and GPA standards, students will then be considered based on service, leadership and character. Eligible students are inducted into the Chapter in the Spring.
