Meet Our Staff
Guidance Services Staff
Morgan Decoteau, Lead School Counselor
Morgan Decoteau has over 15 years of school counseling experience working with students in traditional bricks and mortar schools as well as with those who attend school online. She has an undergraduate degree in Mass Communication from Bloomsburg University and earned her Master’s Degree from American Military University in Guidance and School Counseling. She is certified to work with Elementary and Secondary students. Morgan previously worked at The Keystone School in 2012-2013 where she was recognized by both her students and the National Society for High School Scholars as an “Educator of Distinction”. She loves getting to know the unique story each Keystone student has to tell and especially enjoys helping seniors with their college and career goals. She’s happy to be back at Keystone!
Amy Holmes, School Counselor
Amy is a graduate of James Madison University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After working the technology field for several years, she earned a Master’s Degree in Education and School Counseling from George Mason University. Amy is passionate about helping students develop their academic, career and social emotional skills to lead to success in school. She has worked with and advocated for students in elementary, middle, and high school. In her free time Amy enjoys reading, going to the beach, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
Christa Hoovler, School Counselor
Christa started her career in education as a kindergarten teacher and has worked with students from preschool through college in various teaching roles, both in person and online. School counseling has been her favorite position and she’s happy to bring her experience to Keystone. A graduate of the University of Maryland with a BS in Early Childhood Education and Johns Hopkins University with a MS in School Counseling, Christa is a passionate advocate for students. She encourages her students to develop their academic, emotional, and physical health to their fullest potential.
Away from her computer, Christa lives a semi-crunchy life with her husband along the banks of the Delaware River, where she dreads the winter. Her favorite people are her three grown kids. She loves being outside when it’s warm, and you’ll most likely find her walking in the woods with her dog, playing a round of golf with her hubby or sitting in the stands of a college football game. Christa smells of essential oils and thinks they’re the answer to most problems. She’ll probably even suggest one for you to use, along with large amounts of filtered water and a good probiotic.

Meet Our Faculty
Academic Administration
Elizabeth Jones, Deputy Head of School, Adult Learning
Elizabeth attended Mansfield University in Pennsylvania where she received a BSE in Social Studies Education. Her excitement for education then prompted her to continue on and get her Master’s degree in Education, also from Mansfield University. Elizabeth has worked with The Keystone School for a number of years and has seen the school grow over that time. As Deputy Head of School for Adult Learning, Elizabeth helps adult learners who are looking to earn their high school diploma find the best path forward. She is excited to working with adult learners from all different backgrounds and helping them reach their goals.
Angela Stuart, Deputy Head of School, K-12
Angela is a Wilkes University graduate who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She is history certified in multiple states and maintains each certificate according to state requirements. Her ability to connect with students in a positive and professional manner and ability to go above student expectation is regularly noted by students and parents. Social Studies is her passion, “when you dig deeply into something, you find so much more than appears at the surface – it’s fascinating”. Teaching and learning the details of an item’s past, a political relation, a social interaction or the many governments of the world, are all crucial to daily events. Each plays an integral role in our world today and showing this to our current generation is exhilarating to her. In her free time, Mrs. Stuart enjoys time with her family, exploring historic topics, gardening, fishing, skiing and traveling (especially to historic sites). She was able to recently explore ancient Mayan ruins of the Yucatan Peninsula. In working with Keystone she most appreciates the diversity, dedication and focus of each student. For her, students are the most important part of education!
“Today is the most exciting time in history!” – Mrs. Stuart
