Keystone Adult Learning Career High School Diploma Program Curriculum
Career-Focused Curriculum
The curriculum of the Keystone Adult Learning Career High School Diploma Program is mastery based. This type of course work allows you to take the time you need to learn the material. Most units will begin with a pre-test that will establish what you already know about the topic. Based on the results of the pre-test, you may be able to skip past the material you already know. This allows you to focus your time and attention only on what you need to learn. Don’t spend your valuable time on material you already know!
Curriculum includes career focused core and elective courses that are suited specifically to adult learners. Lessons support the development of professional skills through the academic topics. Applicable skills and real-world examples emphasize the connection between course work and careers.
Courses include all core subject areas and electives geared toward specific career fields. Each field will give you an introduction to topics within that career and help guide your future career aspirations.
