Most students entering The Keystone School need to transfer credits from other schools or homeschooling programs.
Requesting Your Transcript
If you've already earned credits for courses in grades 8 through 12 at another school, they may be eligible to transfer into Keystone. To verify the credits, Keystone requires a copy of your transcript from each school where credits were earned. To request your transcripts, download and complete the Keystone Transcript Request Form, and deliver it to the schools you attended in grade 8 and later.
Keystone offers a free transcript and/or homeschool portfolio evaluation for transferring students. To request a Portfolio Evaluation, download and complete the Keystone portfolio evaluation request form, following the instructions carefully, and submit the completed documents through the following link:
Credits for portfolio-documented courses and from non-regionally accredited high schools will be evaluated on an individual basis and awarded at the discretion of the Keystone administration.
Transferring Credits from Outside the U.S.
If you are a foreign student, we do provide evaluation services, but we do it through an external service agency due to the complexities of foreign educational systems. Evaluation of foreign/international transcripts can take up to 30 days depending on the complexity and research required.
If you have any questions about enrollment, please call 800.255.4937, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 8 PM ET.
* Families are responsible for making sure they are complying with Homeschool requirements. Keystone is NOT responsible to notify or make families aware of homeschool state rules/regulations. Students interested in enrolling in Keystone should register with their state's Department of Education as a homeschooled student and follow any rules/regulations that apply.
