Exploring the World Through a New Lens: In this rigorous, college-level course, students will dive deep into the fascinating field of human geography, exploring the relationships between people, places, cultures, and landscapes. Students will identify and define the central themes of human geography, gaining a strong understanding of how human activity shapes — and is shaped by — the physical world.

Through engaging lessons and critical analysis, students will discover how key concepts such as population, migration, urban development, agriculture, and globalization are interconnected. They will learn to think spatially, analyze patterns and processes, and make connections across diverse regions and cultures.

Designed to prepare students for the AP Human Geography Exam, this course builds essential skills in data interpretation, map reading, critical thinking, and essay writing — providing a strong foundation for success in college and beyond.


Access to this AP course is outside of our usual learning management system. Instructions for access will be sent to the support email after enrollment is processed. 

Course Eligibility Recommendation: Students can take AP courses in 10th, 11th or 12th grade provided they have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Students must register for the AP Exam through the College Board, following their instructions for homeschooled, independent study, and virtual school students.
