Support your child’s journey toward Spanish fluency with Middle School Spanish 2, a two-semester online course designed to strengthen language skills and cultural understanding. Aligned with national standards from the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL), this course continues to develop key skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, while keeping students motivated through interactive and meaningful content.

Perfect for students who have completed Spanish 1 or its equivalent, this course builds on prior knowledge by introducing new vocabulary and grammar in engaging, real-world contexts. Students will explore everyday topics like hobbies, food, family, shopping, animals, places, and weather, helping them grow more confident in their ability to communicate effectively in Spanish.

Each unit includes a thoughtful mix of activities—interactive exercises, multimedia cultural presentations, speaking and writing practice, and comprehension tasks—that make learning both fun and practical. Frequent assessments ensure steady progress and mastery before moving on to new material.

When enrolling in the full year option of this course it will be delivered in two semesters. Middle school language courses do not qualify for high school credit.
