World History Online
Online
Organized chronologically and regionally, the course covers key themes in religion, philosophy, art, science, technology, and political systems. As students progress through World History: Our Human Story—a thoughtfully designed textbook by Stride—they’ll connect historical events to the big ideas that continue to influence our world today.
Interactive online lessons, activities, and assessments support independent learning while building essential academic skills. Students will analyze primary sources and historical maps, construct timelines, complete meaningful projects, and practice writing and research techniques that strengthen critical thinking. Geography is woven throughout the curriculum, helping students understand how the physical world has shaped human history—and vice versa.
By the end of the course, students will not only know what happened, but also why it matters—equipping them with a global perspective and the tools to become thoughtful, informed citizens in an interconnected world.
When enrolling in the full year option of this course it will be delivered in two semesters. Transcripts will reflect each semester separately
