Trigonometry/Pre-Calculus prepares students to continue on to Calculus. The first semester is a study of trigonometric functions, their graphs, and applications. Students will learn to solve right triangles and how to apply the Law of Sines and the Law of Cosines. In the second semester, students will explore various types of functions, such as: radical, rational, polynomial, exponential, and logarithmic functions. They will also learn about polar coordinates, complex numbers, sequences, and series.
