Our 2nd Grade Full-Year Art Course invites young artists to explore the exciting world of visual art and architecture while expressing their creativity in fun, hands-on ways. This engaging program introduces children to famous paintings, sculptures, and styles from around the world—including art from Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.
Students will explore both realistic and abstract art as they learn how artists use lines, shapes, colors, patterns, textures, and forms to bring their ideas to life. They’ll discover different types of art such as portraits, landscapes, and still lifes—and then create their own versions using a wide variety of materials and techniques.
From drawing and painting to sculpting and designing, your child will build confidence while developing fine motor skills and artistic expression. Each lesson is designed to spark imagination and help students see the world through an artistic lens.
