5th Grade Art-Full Year
Online
In this inspiring full-year 5th Grade Art course, students take a creative journey through the rich artistic traditions of Indigenous peoples of North America and the art and architecture of Colonial America. Along the way, they deepen their understanding of key artistic concepts like form, texture, pattern, contrast, and balance.
Through engaging lessons and beautiful visual examples, students learn to appreciate how art reflects culture, history, and storytelling. Then, inspired by what they see, they bring their own creativity to life—drawing, painting, and sculpting original works of art. Projects include self-portraits, landscapes, and still lifes, using a wide variety of materials and techniques that make the learning process both fun and expressive.
This course is designed to nurture your child’s creativity, build confidence in their artistic abilities, and help them see the world through the eyes of different cultures and time periods—all while developing important skills in observation, design, and self-expression.
Whether your child already loves art or is just starting to explore their creative side, this course offers an enriching experience they’ll look forward to all year long.
