Modern World Studies – Credit RecoveryThis course takes students on a global journey from the late 1800s to today, covering major turning points that shaped the modern world. From the Second Industrial Revolution and imperialism, to World Wars, the Great Depression, and the Cold War, students examine key political, social, and economic developments that defined the 20th century. Through interactive lessons, primary source analysis, timelines, map work, writing activities, and independent research, students build strong critical thinking and historical analysis skills. Diagnostic assessments create customized study paths, helping students focus on the topics they need most as they work toward success and graduation.
