Keystone Alum Justin Morrison Is Building a Future in Cybersecurity
From Keystone graduate to future cybersecurity entrepreneur 💻🔐 Justin Morrison, Class of 2021, found the flexibility he needed at Keystone to keep moving forward during a challenging time. After graduation, he continued his education at Strayer University, where he is studying cybersecurity and working toward a future goal of building his own cybersecurity company. Justin’s journey is a reminder that progress doesn’t have to happen all at once. Sometimes, it’s about continuing to take the next step.
For Justin Morrison, finding the right educational environment was about more than completing high school. It was about having the opportunity to grow, regain momentum, and begin building a future he could be proud of.
Justin enrolled in The Keystone School during a challenging period in his life. He needed a school that would allow him to continue his education without placing additional pressure on an already difficult situation.

“I loved how easy it was to go at my own pace and continue to pick school back up after I was put in a tough spot,” Justin shared.
Instead of allowing one difficult chapter to determine what came next, Justin was able to continue working toward graduation on a schedule that fit his needs. The experience taught him that progress does not always happen overnight. Sometimes, moving forward means remaining patient, staying committed, and continuing to take one step at a time.
After graduating from Keystone in 2021, Justin continued his education at Strayer University, where he began studying cybersecurity.
Cybersecurity offered him the chance to enter a growing field focused on protecting digital information, systems, and organizations. His educational journey also inspired an ambitious long-term goal.
In the future, Justin hopes to build and operate a successful cybersecurity company of his own.
Keystone helped make that next chapter possible by giving him a pathway to graduation and college.
“It allowed me to be able to get into college,” he explained.
For Justin, Keystone became a bridge between a challenging moment and a future filled with new possibilities. By having the freedom to work at his own pace, he was able to keep moving forward and begin preparing for the career he hopes to create.
His advice to current Keystone students is simple but meaningful.
“Things will come surely, but slowly.”
