Here's what you can expect to happen next as you to get ready to start your courses.
Online Courses for Elementary School
Elementary school students enrolling in Keystone online courses will receive an email within two business days with instructions on how to access their courses. In addition, each student and Learning Coach will receive a welcome letter from their teacher within 1 week of enrollment.
If the online course has additional materials such as textbooks, workbooks, etc., they will ship within one week after the enrollment is successfully processed.
Students and their Learning Coach can get started while waiting for materials to arrive by reviewing the Welcome to Online Learning course using the information provided in the email.

Online Courses for All Others
After completing the enrollment process, students enrolled in online courses in Keystone's Middle School, High School, Credit Recovery and Adult High School diploma programs will receive an email within two business days with instructions on how to access their courses.
If the online course includes materials such as textbooks, workbooks, etc., they will ship the business day after the enrollment is successfully processed. Note that for some English courses, students are required to obtain a novel on their own. Please refer to the course catalog for any course materials requirements.
Online students can get started while waiting for their materials by completing the Orientation course using the information provided in the email for a better understanding of the overall class experience.

Correspondence (Print-based) Courses
Students can expect to receive their print course materials via first class U.S. Mail within 7–10 days of Keystone's receipt of their completed application. Schools may elect to have all materials mailed directly to the school rather than directly to students. Print course submission will require students to be able to submit their assignments to the teacher on a computer once completed through their Keystone student application.
Print course packages contain:
- A welcome letter that contains the course due date will be emailed to the student and will include information for the student application.
- All materials students need to successfully complete their program of study
- Explicit directions and instructions designed specifically for a successful self-directed, independent study experience
- Rules and regulations that must be followed to ensure student success
Credit Recovery Courses
Enroll today and help your student get back on track. Keystone's Credit Recovery Program is designed for students who did not pass a course on a previous attempt and wish to try again to earn the credits lost. Prior approval from your school is strongly recommended before enrolling, When enrolling in semester courses there is a minimum of 4 weeks and a maximum of 8 weeks. When enrolling in full year courses, these will be split into 2 semester sections, each with a minimum of 4 weeks and a maximum of 8 weeks, additional time can be requested by your school counselor as needed. The Keystone school does not issue course credit, a grade report is sent back to the school and the school of record determine if credit is then issued for the course.

* Families are responsible for making sure they are complying with Homeschool requirements. Keystone is NOT responsible to notify or make families aware of homeschool state rules/regulations. Students interested in enrolling in Keystone should register with their state's Department of Education as a homeschooled student and follow any rules/regulations that apply.
